One of the most iconic visual elements of the Second World War are German panzers blitzing their way across enemy territory, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake.
During the First World War, German tanks had a less than auspicious start. Their first attempt at a tank design was the A7V, a clunky metal box on tracks, a far cry from the formidable vehicles of a quarter century later.

No one's really sure who came up with the idea, but enduro racer Russell Bobbitt first strapped a mountain bike to the rear fender of a Suzuki DR200 and headed off into the mountains for an adventure seven years ago. It wasn’t long before fellow enduro racers Cole Kirkpatrick and Nick Fahringer got involved and the concept of “Bikes on Bikes” was born. Recently, the trio if pioneers—joined by Mike Lafferty, Chris Fillmore, and DR's own Shan Moore—escaped on KTMs into the Taos area for a few days of four-wheeled adventures (on two-wheels, of course). The theory is that an adventure bike can get you to some really extreme MTB riding areas that you can’t normally get to in a car, so carrying your mountain bike on the back of your dual sport makes all the sense in the world. Plus, if you’re going to go on an adventure, why not do it right?!<br /><br />Check out this epic behind-the-scenes video that Kirkpatrick made from the ride, and be sure to catch the full feature in the March 2015 issue of Dirt Rider. But, this post is not about degrading or insulting fashion. Instead, we were only interested in actually figuring out what distinguishes the two.
Not all of our statements are intended to be absolutes, and ultimately, they are our informed opinions. Our hope is to lay out assessments that are fair to everyone and will simulate some great discussion.

Fashion is a way of dressing that is prominent and valued socially because of its innovativeness, novelty, and cultural relevance.
Style is the distinctive way of dressing that leverages the wearer’s personal style, all while exuding self-confidence and still being generally appealing to others. We can take this definition a step further by noting that: Classic style entails all aspects of style generally and is grounded in time-tested principles of aesthetics.
Ultimately, whether you consider yourself a devotee of fashion or style as a personal choice, we certainly see the value of both approaches to menswear, although we personally prefer a style-based approach.

FASHION TRENDS FOR 2023 //
Whether you love or hate fashion trends there is always something to appreciate about the art of the runway. After all fashion is simply art in motion! In today's video I will be doing a deep dive on the latest and greatest fashion trends of 2023 by compiling and cross referencing trend reports from 6 top style sources. I did my best to break these down and present the top chosen trends first and the outliers last. In the video we will talk about clothing trends and then break down some forecasted trends for shoes and accessories.
Through my years I most certainly have gotten to the point where I can identify if a trend will be right for me or not. Or I like to think I have gotten to this point. But even though I don't follow trends in my own life like a religion I do find a ton of inspiration from them. With that being said I hope that you find some inspiration here too!
